A Summer Break (literally)

Thursday, June 24th, 2010

The latest news seems to be that Paramedic! is on a brief summer break (quite literally, actually.)

Our drummer Larry has broken his collar bone so we are taking a few months off until he heals! We were fortunate enough to play two amazing shows with Dos, of our good friends Spraynard, as a substitute. He’s going to be playing with us again this Sat. in Malvern at the Elliot Van Memorial Show, too.
While things have been a little quiet, Charlie has been writing up a STORM. He recorded a bunch of our new unreleased tracks (partially so we don’t forget ‘em) and we hope to start recording a full length (??) soon! We also hope to finally settle in on a t-shirt idea and get some shit printed! (soccer…wrestling…biking…spaghetti…how do we tie it all together??)
In more good news, Larry is also bionic now, as he has a metal plate in his clavicle. They might have put one in his head too, to receive radio signals or at least all the current World Cup Soccer scores.

Its going to be a busy summer ahead with lots of fests and sweaty basement shows. Don’t forget about us! We’ll be back with vengeance hopefully in AUGUST (just like that die hard movie – but most likely we won’t be fighting terrorists.)

But we still haven’t found any resolution.

Jordan draws a line in the sand. from Paramedic! on Vimeo.

We’ll see you on May 7 in West Chester, May 8th in Philly, and May 9th in Bethlehem. We are going to play the best damn shows that have ever been played – whether Jordan Hollander likes it or not.

Chris Reject speaks up

Tuesday, April 20th, 2010

It seems things are only getting worse.

Surely the days leading up to your RECORD RELEASE show should be filled with diligence, hardwork, and excitement…but lately it seems we’ve only be burdened by negativity and stress!

I don’t know if you’ve heard…but some shit is going down. And its getting very REAL. Friends attacking friends. Labels being criticized. Massive amounts of secrecy behind people backs….

Chris Reject spoke up and defended his honor against some weird passive aggressive comments that have been floating around…but so many questions are left unanswered! The biggest one being: WHERE IS THE RECLUSIVE JORDAN HOLLANDER?

I know personally WE would sure love some answers – starting with why he is doing this and what exactly his whole beef is with the Paramedic!/Spraynard split anyway! Maybe he could also explain WHAT exactly is going down at our record release shows on May 7th, 8th, & 9th. Guess we’ll find out soon enough.

There’s some trouble a-foot

Paramedic! is sick of jordan hollander. from Paramedic! on Vimeo.

Ignore that still of Charlie at the top – he’s really a tough dude.

Probably the toughest member of our band (ask him about his shins sometime…) But Paramedic wants you to know we back up every word Charlie Cottone has to say in the video above. There’s some unrest about town, and in the need to not only defend our name, but also our manager and producer Chris Reject, this video needed to come about.

Tonight’s show at the Terrordome…

Saturday, February 27th, 2010

Its with a heavy heart that we announce that our show tonight at the Terrordome has been canceled! Please do not show up!

The super secret special guest was non-other than Ted Leo and the Pharmacists. Surprise!

Sadly, TL/RX experienced a loss in their friend/family last night and will not be able to make it. Our thoughts and love goes out to them right now, more than ever.
